August 23rd, 24th and 25th at Duncombe Park, Helmsley.
FESTIVAL OF MUSIC AND DANCE
We’re in for something very special again this year – around 100 top acts on seven stages over three days – headlined by Reef (Friday), Maximo Park (Saturday) and The Stranglers (Sunday), with supporting profile artists including The Undertones, Lloyd Cole, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, The Travelling Band, Nick Harper, Hope & Social, Chris Helme (The Seahorses), Littlemores, Mostly Autumn and Maia.
The weekend also features the return of the fantastic Hull Stage, featuring the finest talent from East Yorkshire and including The Talks and Counting Coins back by popular demand. And following the phenomenal success of last year’s Saturday Sessions, this year’s acoustic masterclass takes its theme from Wish You Were Here. It will be very special…
As well as some new names, we’re looking forward to the return of some old favourites including supreme blues guitarist Dave Smith, brilliant young folk fiddler Sarah Horn (Aelfen), and the ever-wonderful Holly Taymar, plus loads and loads more. The Firkin Stage next to the beer tent will have a few open mic slots over the weekend, so bring your guitar or banjo or spoons or didgeridoo if you facing having a go.
